Designer and photographer Martin Lazarev (born in Tartu, Estonia in 1977) lives in Brazil since 2008. The present calendar consists of material about Rio de Janeiro workers being picked up in course of the last year. All photos have been taken in the beach and street corners of Rio de Janeiro and portrait the reality of contrasts of the local society. Despite of the hard daily work the brazilians can maintain their easy-going and happy spirit. The aim of photos by Martin Lazarev is to show the daily life of Rio de Janeiro as it is, in this case the simple workers of Cidade Maravilhosa.
All project contains 100 portraits of Rio de Janeiro workers.
